If you only have carry-on luggage with you and no checked luggage, OneStop is for you!

Arriving international travelers with carry-on bags only (no checked luggage) can proceed to one of four designated CBP OneStop lanes in the passport control processing area. International travelers will have their own primary and exit control inspections in one location, expediting the entry into the country process.

Just follow these three easy steps:

  1. Follow the OneStop signage to the designated CBP passport processing lanes
  2. Present your passport and necessary travel documents to a CBP officer for processing
  3. Exit through designated OneStop exit and turn in your CBP declaration form to a CBP officer

There is no membership or registration required to participate in OneStop. Any international traveler, crew or passengers, with carry-on bags only should follow signage to the designated lanes.

With OneStop, travelers provide their declaration form and approved travel documents to the CBP primary inspection officer who conducts a complete interview and review of documents to determine admissibility. Since there is no additional luggage to check and pick up, passengers are directed to a special short cut exit where they will bypass the baggage carousels. The One-Stop primary inspection addresses all CBP requirements, which cover admissibility, customs, agriculture and national security.

If you are an international traveler arriving at IAH with only carry-on luggage, look for the signs on the right to get you to the right line for processing.

Passengers are selected randomly each day for secondary interviews and a full inspection of their belongings to test vulnerabilities.
